Jake & Katie: A Ballroom Wedding in Roanoke, Virginia

"Love does not consist of gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction"  -- Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Jake & Katie. They've been together for well over 5 years and have walked a sliver of what we call the path of life. On April 18th, Katie was escorted by her father down the aisle of the Shertaon Hotel's ballroom towards her loving soon-to-be husband. If you were able to see Jake's face while he saw his bride walking towards him, you would see the amount of nervousness he possessed to slowly slip away as Katie's father gave her away.

Through sand ceremony, they united with Christ as their foundation & intermingled the sands of both her family & his in shades of blue & purple. With hints of DIY rustic touches, their ballroom wedding could not have been more elegant. Katie was wonderfully made up & wore a princess ballgown style ballgown. Jake was attired as a dapper young man, ready to receive his bride.

Though the day did not go exactly as planned according to timelines, who would ever know (and what wedding ever goes as planned - am I right)?!

Accompanied & supported by their closest friends & family, this couple is ready to walk the path outward together in Christ. Congratulations Jake & Katie!
