At first, I was hesitant to share this wedding being that it was in December and it's now March. Spring is upon us and while flowers are blooming & bushes are growing, they are calling for snow this week so I thought, "why not share the only winter wedding we photographed from 2017"?! Ladies & gentleman, meet David & Hannah!
Although it was early winter at the Kyle House, we had perfect weather before the sun went down! With limited natural light during their wedding, we had to be creative in every aspect of our day.... especially with our portraits. Luckily, I grew up in Fincastle, Virginia and have photographed at the Kyle House many times so I had some new ideas to try! Their bridal party was so patient and trusting. I'm pretty sure the guys were buzzed, but they were troopers!
Nevertheless, David & Hannah wanted a fairytale wedding & I can definitely say they got it! From Hannah's dress (don't even get my started on her dress) to all the small details they incorporated into their day. We first met during their windy engagement session (visit here) and Hannah was actually one of my other bride's bridesmaids so they saw me in action before her big day! David and his men wore black suits while Hannah wore a fitted Martina Liana wedding gown and her bridesmaids complimented her with burgundy dresses & brown furs for warmth! With hints of pink, burgundy & cream, it was nothing short of a fairytale... and don't even get me started on her shoes!! Thank you David & Hannah for choosing me to capture your dream wedding and shoutout to your family and friends who made your night one to remember!
