Virginia Tech in the fall, it doesn't get much better than that. This would be true BUT, when you have a gorgeous couple so in love with their alma mater & each other, it does get better! An even bigger bonus to shooting this fall engagement session is that you might remember this couple from their famous sunrise McAfee's Knob proposal found here.
Josh & Cynthia.
When scheduling their engagement session, we knew we had to avoid game days due to the massive amounts of people on campus. So the day Virginia Tech played Duke at Duke, it was the perfect opportunity to wonder around. Unbeknownst to us, when we showed up to VT's Admissions day and little baby high schoolers & their families were touring campus. In my mind, I'm thinking "great.....it's high-noon, there are people everywhere decked out in maroon and orange & everywhere we wanted to shoot were the hot spots to visit" but in my heart, I knew we could get it done! BOOM - colorful, peopleless magic happened.f
As a photographer, I speak through images rather than words. To capture the emotions they feel for each other simply cannot be put into words. Her giggle, his smile - it all leads up to one thing - the happiness they share for each other through their relationship in Christ. After photographing their proposal & their engagement, I am counting down the months until I follow them along to photograph their fall wedding day at Doe Creek Farms in 2017.
