Steven & Jen: A Blue Ridge Mountain Wedding | On the Glen, Vinton VA | Roanoke Virginia Wedding Photographer
"Marriage is about becoming a team. You're going to spend the rest of your life learning about each other, and every now and then, things blow up. But the beauty of marriage is that if you picked the right person and you both love each other, you'll always figure out a way to get through it" -- Nicholas Sparks
..Jen & Steven..
Surrounded by storms, their loved ones & their pups on a gorgeous day in June, these two made a choice to officially become a team. And then the heavens opened! Jen wore a very comfortable, fitted lace gown complimented by her ladies in different shades of gray while her hubby to be sported a simple vest & pant combo to match their rustic theme. It was rustic chic to say the least! Full of small details and an overwhelming sense of party, these two truly are blessed. The cake went fast & the dance floor was packed. From the moment we showed up to the moment we left, party mode was engaged. But life is a party & having someone to celebrate just makes things better!
Congratulations you two!

So there's a thing called a "wedding scent". Some people get candles, some people get perfumes/colognes. Jen had this candle burning in the background while she was getting ready so every time they light it in the future, it smells like their wedding day!
Jen is family member number 13. It stared with her Grandpa and since then, everyone down the line has gotten a tattoo to mark who they are. Not only did I photograph this puppy during our engagement session but, it's a puzzle piece in their story because now Steven adds another number to the family!
