I first met David when he was planning a scavenger hunt proposal for his then girlfriend Allie and at the time, we were having fun chasing light on a cold winter evening. Little did I know that they soon would contact me to photograph their Cabo San Lucas wedding at The Cape, a Thompson Hotel.

Because I had previously photographed Myles & Jenna’s Los Cabos wedding, preparing the travel and pricing for David & Allie’s intimate Cabo San Lucas Wedding in Los Cabos, Mexico was a breeze. And let’s not forget that a Mexican wedding, especially the Cape Cabo wedding you’re about to scroll through, is a wedding like no other! Through their incredibly gorgeous photographs below (yes I’m biased), I hope you can see the joy these two shared while getting married in Cabo San Lucas. Being a destination wedding photographer takes me to some incredible places all over the world but, I’ve fallen madly in love with Los Cabos!

We started the day off soaking up the sun, capturing all their details and getting ready on two different sides of the venue. Before we knew it, it was time for their first look on the rooftop where you can see the iconic view of the Cabo Arch with ease. After that, PORTRAITS. LOTS and LOTS of portraits all over this unique Mexican wedding venue and resort because HOLY COW! Fun fact, because of the direction the Cabo Arches face, you can only see them from a couple of resorts have a true view of them, and thankfully we did! Throughout the day, David & Allie were surrounded by the laughter of their closest friends and family and the crashing waves of the Gulf of California! To finish the night off, we adventured through the sand for their glowing sunset, we were welcomed to the reception with a tequila shot, we cheers’d to an Irish blessing ending in fireworks and we danced like no one was watching (although I’m sure plenty of guests were).

The morning after their intimate wedding, we met at sunrise for their Cabo adventure session/Cabo trash the dress session and I promise, you will want to see those pictures too! Being a Los Cabos photographer is something I never thought would happen and I’m blessed to be able to capture these memories for my couples. Because let’s face it, it’s much more fun if there’s proof of a good time!

One of my favorite details about this Cabo San Lucas wedding is that David & Allie brought a polaroid camera to take their own pictures throughout their trip. Memories that cannot be recreated or posted on social media instantly unless we upload it with another device. A valuable way to bring nostalgic item back to life so of course, I used what they captured as part of their invitation suite because heaven forbid they get lost.. that moment is gone!

Yep, they totally took shots before their Cabo San Lucas Wedding at The Cape a Thompson Hotel! And look at that stunning ceremony site with the famous view of the Cabo Arch! UGH! All my desert, ocean and mountain vibes bring this Los Cabos Photographer back to life!
