Brock & Amber: A Sunrise Session | Cabo San Lucas, Mexico | Virginia Destination Photographer

Back in 2017, we traveled to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico for the first time - and it was love at first sight all the way around! With it being my second destination wedding, I had a goal… to photograph more while on location. With that being said, it was definitely going noticed! We photographed Jenna & Myles’ wedding and the very next morning, we were up at sunrise photographing Amber & Brock’s anniversary session. That evening, we got Jenna and Myles back in their wedding attire and played in the ocean together for their adventure session with that Baja California Sur sunset! After being on the beach and climbing through rocks all day, we were approached by a family to take pictures the following sunrise and I was falling more and more in love with Cabo. I felt so alive! People trusting me, not questioning my vision, running from waves and creating memories not only for others but for myself. While walking off the beach for the second sunrise in a row, I was beat and ready to relax… only to be approached by another family for family portraits. However, after flying across the country, photographing a wedding and 3 sessions sun up to sun down, I chose to politely pass and enjoy some time with my travel partner and best friend - my Momma!

As for Brock & Amber’s sunrise session - let the fun begin! We climbed through the rocky Cabo terrain, we counted the space in between swells and eventually, got wet from crashing waves. What didn’t happen was, we weren’t bored! Now, these two are a family of four with twin baby girls and we’re so happy we were able to spend this time with them.
