All three adjectives describing this sweet family & their summer sunset at A Hobbit’s Dream. Before we get into specifics, I have to love on all four of these cuties, as they are my family! It always makes me happy to have a connection with my clients but having family in front of my camera is an extra blessing! Having known this sexy momma for 29 years, welcoming her soulmate into our circle and then seeing them raise the most adorable and intriguing girls, it brings me great joy to capture their love for each other and their zeal for adventure as a family. Tucked in the hills of Lexington, Virginia and built to resemble a “hobbit” house, this 4 room structure is actually built underground with the front having a viewable access. It’s also decked out in magical decor and constructed organically to make you feel as if you are on a live set of The Lord of the Rings movie. Pair it with a super precious family, a glowing sunset & an ecstatic family photographer, we couldn’t stop finding new things to learn about from all sorts of angles. If you can’t tell already, they’re basically models and I’m so happy they’re my models! It comes as a surprise to some but we enjoy photographing families, especially ones that love to snuggle, laugh & be themselves!
