Allan & Madeline: A Waterfall Engagement | Falling Spring Falls | Roanoke Virginia Wedding Photographer

There comes a point in everyone's career where you stop, stare and question "is this real". As an entrepreneur, this was my moment. Meeting Allan & Madeline, listening to them match tune and getting to play in a waterfall with them! Everything about this day and their waterfall engagement session at Falling Spring Falls made my heart smile.

Madeline ran across my photography online and as soon as she contacted me, I knew I was in for a treat. She explained to me that she wanted something adventurous with water but not the beach,as they are getting married in the Dominican Republic in May 2018! Immediately, Falling Spring Falls came to my mind and when we got there, creativity took over!

We climbed rocks, slid through mud and danced under the waterfall! I wish we would've had another photographer or even a videographer come and document our shoot, it was THAT unique! The level of affection these two hold for one another is evident in their laughter. They say a picture is worth a thousand words.... well, I'm simply speechless compared to the amount of pictures I am sharing with you today. All I can say is that Madeline rocked WHITE outfits and Allan was pant-leg deep in water half the session, both enjoying life together. Can I pick a favorite image, absolutely not! I can honestly say that this engagement session holds a special place in my heart not because of the beautiful weather we had or the awesome images we created, but because they were so trusting and audacious, never fearing or doubtful. Congratulations Allan & Madeline, I cannot wait to get to know you more and see where life takes you!
